Dory and her friends are a group of upper-class, self-centered millennials trying to figure out what to do with their lives after college. After they learn that a college acquaintance has been missing for quite some time post-graduation, Dory launches a personal investigation into what might have happened to their acquaintance out of curiosity and to ignore her own lack of purpose. With witty, sharp writing that captures (and satirizes) millennial adulthood, each season presents a new thematic twist that leaves viewers guessing what’s next.

Believe me when I tell you this show had a grip on my husband and I! I’m not kidding--we were so obsessed with this show we rushed through our evening routine so that we could squeeze in one more episode before bedtime. Even though the plot itself is a little dark, the writing is so funny and the performances are so incredible that I never felt bad watching it. I absolutely fell in love with the cast and the total cluelessness of their characters. They all have great chemistry and comedic timing. And the series’ commentary on millennial culture was hilarious and spot-on, but without feeling mean or dismissive. I can’t say too much without giving the plot away, but Dory’s character development especially is a wild ride. Whatever you think this show is, it’s not, in such a good way!
