Amanda's thoughts

I wouldn’t have imagined funny girl Kristen Bell in a twisted psychological thriller. But, here I am, jaw to the ground, after the final episode. It’s important to understand the show is a satire, and the comedy is cleverly woven into the dialogue. You just might miss it. My husband did, but I was laughing out loud! There is plenty of “mom humor” that I could relate to. Plus, I envied Bell’s ability to pull off those bangs and her wardrobe was cozy but sophisticated. Her character was relatable, even though the storyline was a bit crazy.

The episodes are very short. Believe me, you’ll watch it fast! Each episode leaves you guessing what’s going to happen next. I’m not going to lie, some of the humor is pretty dark. The ending is wild. It gets to a point where you, too, might begin to question the reality of what you’re witnessing.
